Birds of a Feather
Janessa & Matt met at a Halloween Party through mutual friends back about 10 years ago. Janessa is from Colorado, and Matt was born in a reserve, so he is Native American! They chose this wedding date because it was going to mark their 10 year anniversary! SO COOL!
They both even share the same birthday (three years apart) and are left handed. What are the odds?!
Their love for concerts, music, video games, and adult cartoons brought them closer together over the years!
For the Wedding Day, they needed to have a peacock theme! They LOVED the peacock vintage feel with teal, eggplant, keys, feathers, oil lanterns, and antique items. The Bride even found a cool shop that makes paper flowers that she incorporated in the centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres!
They carefully planned the tiniest details, and made sure everything was cohesive all the way from shoes, to rings, to their AWESOME peacock champagne toasting flutes!
Getting ready for the Ceremony was SO much fun! The couple decided to do a First Look, and Matt had no idea that Janessa's Bride's Man, Jacob, was actually going to be doing the First Look instead. This put a huge smile on Matt's face!
The Ceremony was SO much fun with tons of stories of the two love birds (or should I say peacocks), and it was truly light hearted from the AMAZING Kim Tavendale!
The Reception was filled with fun cocktails, a hearty BBQ buffet, delicious cake and cotton candy - The Groom's favorite!
It was so lovely planning with Janessa & Matt. They were a truly fun, unique, and kind couple that we had the pleasure of planning with. Cheers to many years!!
